Description
Atlantic Cape Community College seeks qualified instructors to deliver outreach to high school and community groups. This position will assist in providing the deliverables under NSF grants.
Teaching Areas Include:
sUAS Maintenance – skills, careers, augmented reality experiences,
Future of UAS – aircraft design, passenger and cargo operations
Continuing Education – advancements within field and available pathways to increase skills
Examples of Duties
Preparing and presenting provided course materials following grant outlines to high school students, high school teachers, and community groups.
Regular communication with students, department, and college community
Assessment of outreach activities
Reporting as required
Recruit high school teachers to implement modules within their curriculum.
Typical Qualifications
Appropriate professional experience, degree preferred.
Qualified educational degree can be in a specific teaching area OR include appropriate coursework in a teaching area.
Relevant licensure required.
Supplemental Information
This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at locations in Atlantic and Cape May counties.
This is a grant funded position and subject to grant renewal.
