If you live for capturing jaw-dropping transformations, cinematic drone shots, and edits that make people stop scrolling, this is your role.

We’re hiring a Visual Content Lead to own the photo + video production that fuels two standout Winnipeg brands. The majority of your work (90%) will be with Gellers Design Build Landscape, creating premium content that showcases high-end outdoor transformations, finished project reveals, on-site progress moments, drone footage, and polished edits that feel elevated and instantly recognizable.

The remaining 10% of your role will support Shelmerdine Garden Center’s boutique rebrand: Thirty Seven, capturing fashion-forward photography and lifestyle content that makes the brand feel energetic, exciting, and must-follow.

What You’ll Own:

• High-end photo and some video product for Gellers’ finished projects
• Drone footage capture and cinematic storytelling
• High-level editing (photo and video) that feels polished, modern, and on-brand
• Consistent delivery of scroll-stopping short-form video (Reels / TikTok-style edits)
• Seasonal fashion photography + campaign-style content for Thirty Seven (Shelmerdine boutique)
• Collaboration with the Gellers Brand & Content Manager to build a consistent, campaign-ready content engine supporting our 2026 household name goal
• A clean, organized asset library in Google Drive that keeps content usable year-round

What You’ll Do: 

• Capture finished project photography at Geller's job sites, including architectural wide shots, detail shots, lifestyle angles, and transformation moments
• Capture cinematic drone footage of landscapes, pools, patios, and full property reveals
• Produce high-end video content including reels, project highlights, educational videos, walkthroughs, and seasonal storytelling
• Support ongoing “in-progress” capture days (planned weekly site day) that highlight craftsmanship, process, and the team behind the builds
• Execute dawn and dusk shoots during peak season to capture the best lighting for completed 2025 projects (July–September priority)
• Edit and deliver high end social media content to the Brand & Content Manager
• Work closely with the Geller’s Brand & Content Manager to plan shot lists, prioritize projects, and deliver the right content at the right time, ensuring our social and campaigns build momentum toward becoming a household name by the end of 2026
• Collaborate with the Brand & Content Manager(s) to deliver content that supports campaigns and seasonal priorities (not random content for the sake of it)
• Support Shelmerdine’s fashion rebrand (Thirty Seven) with:
    - product photography
    - lifestyle imagery
    - boutique brand visuals
    - campaign-style shoots for launch moments
• Maintain an organized drive + archive system so content is easy to find, reuse, and repurpose

What We’re Looking For:

• A portfolio that demonstrates premium photography and high-end editing
• Someone who is comfortable working on active construction sites and capturing content safely and confidently on-location
• Confidence flying a drone (or a genuine desire to learn and grow in this area)
• Strong ability to shoot both cinematic wide angles and product-focused detail shots
• A talent for creating lifestyle content that feels real, relatable, and emotionally connectable
• Strong technical editing skills (color, pacing, sound, and overall polish)
• The ability to move fast when needed, stay adaptable with weather, and manage competing priorities
• Excellent organizational habits, especially during peak season with strong asset management and file systems
• A passion for building a consistent visual style that aligns with brand standards and stays recognizable over time

Work Schedule:

• 4 days a week, permanent 
• Some weekends and evenings required
