Janitronics/Action Window Cleaning has a unique opportunity for a, A "commercial drone pilot window cleaner. The prospect will operate a commercially licensed drone to clean exterior windows of buildings, utilizing specialized cleaning attachments and tools, while adhering to all safety regulations and FAA guidelines related to drone operation; essentially combining the skills of a window cleaner with the technical expertise of a commercial drone pilot.

  • Shift: 6am-3:30pm
  • Days: M-F
  • Pay: $ 30/hr.
  • Location: Capital Region
  • Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have valid DL
  • Must Have Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with necessary endorsements.

Key responsibilities may include:

· Drone operation:

  • Flying drones equipped with window cleaning attachments to access hard-to-reach areas of buildings.
  • Planning flight paths and coordinating drone movements to efficiently clean windows.
  • Monitoring weather conditions and airspace restrictions to ensure safe drone operation.
  • Window cleaning:
  • Applying cleaning solutions to windows using specialized drone-mounted brushes or sponges.
  • Inspecting windows for dirt, grime, and damage during cleaning process.
  • Adjusting cleaning techniques based on window type and building structure.
  • Technical skills:
  • Proficiency with drone flight control systems and navigation software.
  • Understanding of FAA regulations regarding commercial drone operation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with the drone and cleaning attachments.
  • Safety procedures:
  • Adhering to safety protocols for both drone operation and window cleaning procedures.
  • Performing pre-flight inspections of the drone and cleaning equipment.
  • Maintaining proper communication with ground crew and clients regarding cleaning operations.

Required qualifications:

  • Commercial Drone Pilot Certificate: Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate with necessary endorsements.
  • Window cleaning experience: Proven skills in professional window cleaning techniques, preferably with high-rise experience.
  • Technical aptitude: Comfort with technology and ability to learn new drone systems and software.

High-rise buildings, Commercial properties, and Industrial facilities.
